Artist Girl Art Journal Page.
This page started with some pink excess paint slapped on the page when working on another project, I am working in my altered book, so the page already had the typed text on it, sometimes I gesso and remove the text but this time I left it peeking through the paint.
I added the Starburst Napkin, I used 1/2 the napkin (or 2 of the 4 panels), I love using napkins as the white on the napkin disappear with you apply Mat medium to the page to glue it down, and you only see the printed coloured parts. I love also how the Napkins give the page a nice texture and feel.
I them did some stenciling and stamping, I used my Tiny Circle Dot Stencil, and some archival inks, I also used some mark making stamps from Art By Marlene.
I added some scribble journaling and some white words from Michelle Grant Designs Digital Packs.
To colour the Art Girl with Supplies Embellishment, I used inks on her hair, also yes the Tiny Circle Dots, I added the colour to the art supplies on her shirt with water colours and some markers, I then backed her shirt with black paper to make it pop off the page. I also put black behind her Face features so they didnt get lost on the coloured background.
